Clogging

A clogged vacuum still has suction power, but cannot pic up dirt or debris. The airflow may be restricted, but the motor still sounds functional. If clogged, unplug and discontinue use immediately in order to prevent overheating and power failure.

Dirty Filter

A dirty filter may be the cause of your clogging. If you remove the front module of the vacuum and see that the filter is covered in dirt and debris, it is likely the cause of the clogging.

If the filter is dirty or full of debris, clean it by rinsing or using an air compressor to blow out debris. Examine the filter and make sure it is clean. Replace in the module.

A lodged object may be the cause of your clogging. If you see an object obstructing the intake of dirt from the vacuum, this is likely the cause.

Take apart the module and look for an object causing the obstruction. If such an object exists, remove the object causing the obstruction.

The vacuum cannot pick up dirt or debris. The airflow of the vacuum is severely restricted such that it cannot generate suction.

Broken Motor

A broken motor is a very large obstacle to proper suction. You may notice that your motor is broken if when you power the vacuum on, you hear no noise.
